Our yearly panel includes Anna Bulbrook, Michelle Zauner, Portia Sabin, and Issy Kelly.

Anna Bulbrook is a musician and the founder of GIRLSCHOOL. As a musician she was a member of The Airborne Toxic Event and recording violinist for artists including Vampire Weekend, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Beyoncé. She founded GIRLSCHOOL in 2016. It is a collective of musicians, advocates, and music industry veterans focused on empowering the femme-identified.

Michelle Zauner is a Eugene native that creates indie pop music underneath her alias, Japanese Breakfast. She has released two studio albums: Psychopomp (2016) and Soft Sounds From Another Planet (2017).

Portia Sabin is the president of the independent record label Kill Rock Stars and mastermind behind the podcast “The Future of What” that delves into anything and everything about the music industry including contracts, technology, and social media.
