Founded in 2016 at The University of Oregon, The Music Industry Collective is a cross-disciplinary group for students to connect with each other, professionals, and opportunities. The group provides the skills, knowledge, and the experiential learning necessary for a career in the music industry.
Through guest speakers, workshops, and more the group hopes to encourage and provide essential resources for passionate students seeking a career within music.
President: Allison Del Fium
As a current senior, Allison is pursuing a degree in Journalism with an emphasis in music.
Allison made her dive into the industry when she started writing and recording music for local Southern California musicians. After being around the creative process for many years, she decided it was time to grow her knowledge in the business side of the industry.
Since then, Allison has gone on to work in areas of the industry that include journalism, publicity, audio engineering, management, booking, artist development and entrepreneurship.
Favorite artists include: Mumford & Sons, Bleachers, The Lumineers, Spiller and HAIM.
VP of Logistics: Aidan D' Angelo
Aidan is a current senior pursuing a degree in Advertising.
As the bass player for Spiller, Aidan has gained a wide range of industry experience that includes booking, management, creative strategy and other artist relations.
He formerly ran the weekly campus concert series “FishBowl Friday’s” and is now booking for the Willamette Valley Music Festival. In addition, Aidan works along side Allison for their artist management company, Panorama in which they’ve worked with a wide variety of artists and genres.
In his free time he enjoys reading, spending time in the Oregon rain, and talking about plants.

VP of External Affairs: Robert Schenk
Bobby is a current Sophomore at the UO studying Journalism and Film.
He is the Programming Director for KWVA 88.1 and well as holding his own radio show.
Bobby is a collegiate representative for In2une Music, a marketing and promotional company for industry professionals.
When not working with The MIC, you can find Bobby playing tunes as Reggae Rob.
VP of Membership: Dani Alonso
As a current senior, Dani is working towards her degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
She is looking forward to expanding the music scene and knowledge on campus through increasing engagement among UO students.
In her free time she finds new artists to write about on her personal music blog and enjoys adventuring in Oregon.
The first band she fell in love with was The Strokes and her favorite artists include: Lord Huron, Father John Misty, Dope Lemon and Portugal. The Man
VP of Finance: Jill Sullivan
As a current sophomore, Jill is pursuing two degrees in Business and Journalism.
She has been an active member of the MIC since her freshman year and is a concert enthusiast. In addition, she has volunteered for the Willamette Valley Music Festival and plays electric ukulele in a small pop punk band.
She has worked for a CPA the last two years and has a strong background in bookkeeping and budgeting. Your finances are in good hands.
Favorite artists include: Fleetwood Mac, The Frights, Weezer and Paramore.
VP of Public Relations: Phillip Quinn
As a current senior, Phillip is pursuing a degree in Advertising through the School of Journalism and Communication.
Phillip has been a photographer since before he learned how to drive. After the first concert he photographed, Grouplove with Portugal. The Man, he knew he wanted to work with musicians.
Since then, Phillip has covered concerts for publications, recorded live performances for musicians, and has had images used as album covers.
Favorite artists include: Chance the Rapper, STRFKR, Arcade Fire, Kendrick Lamar, and NoName.
